Why Life of Pi might not get the Best Picture Oscar award

It’s a spectacular movie, it leaves you dazzled with all it’s mind-boggling visuals and awestruck with the beauty of the sceneries. But Life of Pi might just be the appropriate movie to be selected for the best picture award. Simply because there are lot of other factors to it than just technology and 3D awesomeness.

The story line, though an incredible one when might be read in a book, left little to the imagination. Everything was tried to be portrayed and narrated in the most detailed fashion possible. Though it was entertaining, it lacked that x-touch which separates the better from the best.

It will be interesting to see what happens on February 24th, 2013 at the awards ceremony! Stay tuned in for more.

Dhoni’s home advantage at Ranchi today

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be a happy captain today while playing at his home town. It will be interesting to see what splendours he bring about as a special treat for this match. Winning the match will of course pave the way for a smoother journey for Team India. But it is the brilliances and sparks of the players that people wait for.

Indian team is at it’s constructive phase right now. So it is as easy to criticize and praise any one ever than before. Nevertheless, it’s very annoying to see players like Rohit Sharma continuing to play for so long without performing whereas players like Jadeja are sitting around.

As for the split captaincy, Dhoni should strongly consider giving up on the Test format. It’s not at all his strength, nor it goes with his style.

Facebook’s new graph search seems interesting

Facebook will be leaping a lot forward with their new graph search being introduced. It will allow the user to search the social life of his or her’s entirely. In fact, it is a search over your life.

But it will be interesting to see how much of an x factor it has over it’s normal search technology. Because the current hype has surely raised the expectations bar too high to meet.
